Memorial Tree Program
Beginning on May 12, 2004 the Lincoln County Humane Society lanched its Memorial Tree Program.
With this new program those individuals who have lost their beloved pets may purchase a tree through the Humane Society and it will be planted on Humane Society grounds to continue a living memory of their pet.
This program began on May 12, 2004 with the planting of an Autumn Blaze Red Maple in memory of Dr. Angela Zuliani who passed away suddenly this past March. Angela was a supporter of the Humane Society and loved animals.
We will have up to 24 trees planted in memory of lost pets and the trees will consist of:
- Star Magnolia Tree
- Aristocrat Pear
- Kwanzan Cherry

- Ginko
- Tulip
- River Beach

All trees range from $350 to $550. Individuals may choose any tree they wish and they will be planted in specific spots on our property which consists of approximately 2 & 1/4 acres.
