Bailey recently celebrated her 13th birthday and asked her friends and family for donations to the Humane Society instead of presents.

Bailey came to the shelter with her mom Tracey and little sister Brittany on March 20 with bags of gifts for the animals and a gift card worth over $350!!

Thank you very much Bailey – you are truly a friend to the animals!

We'd like to thank Rachel, who in lieu of gifts for herself for her birthday, asked that her friends make donations for the Shelter.

Margo recently celebrated her 8th birthday. When she sent out the invitations to her party she asked her friends and family NOT to buy her presents.

Instead she asked them to buy food and toys for all the animals at the shelter. Judging from the laundry baskets filled with gifts, she didn’t have a hard time convincing them to help out. Also pictured with Margo is Kevin Strooband and her sister Melanie.

Zachary (pictured with Kevin Strooband) recently celebrated his 8th birthday on September 24th. Rather than birthday presents, he asked his family and friends to donate to the Lincoln County Humane Society. The animals wish you a “Happy 8th Birthday, Zachary!” and thank you for your kindness.”
